Michael Crooks has been working within the Australian elite sporting system since 1998 holding positions in both state institute and professional sporting organisations. Areas of expertise include athlete physical preparation, program measurement, accountability, program review and design. As the ‘National Talent Pathway Manager’, he is responsible for working closely with the High Performance Director, National Junior Coaches, National Training Centres, SIS/SAS network and Game Education Manager in driving and delivering ‘Sustainable International Success’ across both the current Olympic cycle and with a view to the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games
